Interactive Media Development

The core of this skillset consists of graphic design, animation, interaction programming, and audio/video editing. Just hand over a storyboard and I'll produce your vision - and even enhance it if you wish. I often consult with the ISD during the design process - resulting in a better course with more varied types of interactions.

Much of my development work is custom, but I've also produced great courses using rapid dev tools like Articulate and Captivate, incorporating custom Flash as needed.

In addition to developing content, I've also produced and customized SCORM compliant user interfaces, and built many Flash and HTML content templates to facilitate faster custom production by other team members.

Instructional Design and Technical Writing

In addition to developing interactive media, I've become adept at writing instruction for pc and web-based courses. This is a big plus for any project since it often reduces total development time and, of course, subsequently increases your bottom line.

My proficiency in technical writing, e.g., writing manuals or process documentation, is derived mainly from a lifelong love affair with organization and efficiency. Through proper format and clear writing style, I can make almost any process easy to follow and learn.
